Somatic Bodywork &

Yoga Therapy

The foundation of Pneuma Yoga. Our time together emphasizes the mind-body connection through gentle, mindful movements and hands on assistance that increase bodily awareness and release deeply held tension. Thomas Hanna Somatics helps retrain the nervous system to eliminate chronic pain and improve mobility by addressing sensory motor amnesia (SMA), a condition where the brain forgets how to fully control certain muscles. We work together to unwind held tension, restore function to physical body. We will focus on breathing to calm the nervous system and discover a deeper healing tool that help keep all layers of your being in balance. Sessions are 90 minutes or 60 minutes. I will also create a wellness plan and practices to help balance your specific needs.

Somatics are for everyone, however not everyone is capable of making it to a class! With YouTube you can experience Somatic Yoga from the comfort of your own home! Enhance your well-being with these carefully crafted classes designed to restore and balance your body, breath, and mind. Mondays: Grounding Slow Flow 6:30 to 7:15pm. Experience a harmonious blend of slow yoga asana and somatic work in this Slow Flow class. Improving movement patterns take awareness and practice, this class is designed to integrate subtle movements into larger, more efficient movement patterns, promoting deep body awareness, functional movement as well as relaxation. Perfect for all levels!
Wednesday: Therapeutic and Somatic Yoga 6:30 to 7:45pm. Experience a unique blend of therapeutic and somatic yoga designed to promote holistic well-being and deep body awareness. In this class, we integrate gentle yoga asanas with somatic bodywork to unlock tension patterns, restore natural movement, and balance the nervous system. Excellent for all levels! 
Fridays: The Breathing Clinic 7:30 to 8:45am This class focuses on breath re-education techniques that enhance respiratory function, reduce stress, and promote overall well-being. Learn to harness the full potential of your breath through mindful exercises that balance the nervous system, improve oxygen uptake, and increase energy levels. Perfect for all levels, the Breathing Clinic provides a supportive environment where you can deepen your understanding of breath and its impact on your health. Whether you're new to breathwork or looking to refine your practice, this class offers valuable tools for a healthier, more balanced life.
